Elizabeth (Liz) enjoys her work prescribing wheelchairs as it allows her to establish longer term relationships with clients and their support people, sometimes assisting clients for many years.

Liz has extensive experience working with anyone who needs a wheelchair, but she’s most interested in working with spinal cord injury – from first chair prescription to addressing issues as her client’s bodies change with age. Her interests lie in wheelchair prescription, postural assessment and pressure injury management. Her product knowledge is second-to-none, and she takes enormous pride in achieving comfortable and functional seating and mobility options for her clients. She strives to incorporate client education and choice into every decision along the wheelchair prescription path.

Liz loves that every day she comes to work, she gets to put her years of experience assisting people – who live with so many different kinds of neurological conditions – to find a wheelchair that maximises their mobility, function and independence.
