Kathryn Horley

Kathryn has been an Occupational Therapist for 25 years, working mostly in the community, with people with Neurological Diagnoses.

Connection, purpose, and kindness are at the heart of what drives Kathryn. She believe in treating others the way she would like to be treated, and she tries to bring this into every interaction with empathy, respect, and collaboration.

Kathryn is passionate about being able to help people, and making a positive difference in a person’s life. She values supporting individuals to improve daily function, well-being, and confidence in ways that are practical, meaningful, and sustainable.

Kathryn is proud to have been selected to represent Victoria Health at the Birmingham International Job Fair in the UK in 2023. She reflects: ‘it was a wonderful opportunity to connect, share knowledge, and represent my profession on an international stage’.

Along side her skills in neurological rehabilitation, Kathryn has an interest in women’s health, particularly the menopause transition, how this stage of life intersects with roles, identity, and quality of life, and how it impacts a woman’s ability to engage in the everyday activities that matter most as it intersects with other health diagnosis.

When Kathryn isn’t at work, you will find her outside at one with nature, coffee keep cup in hand.
