Rebecca Dirago

Neurological Physiotherapist BA. BSc. DPT | APAM

Rebecca (Bec) has always had a strong interest in the workings of the human body, so choosing physiotherapy as a career was a no-brainer. What she loves most about physiotherapy is that she gets to make a difference in the lives of others, and she’s constantly growing and learning.

Bec has always enjoyed working with the spinal cord injury population and has had invaluable experience in this area through her time working with the Victorian Spinal Cord Service at Austin Health.

Bec is known for her creative approach to clinical practice — she’s always thinking outside the box and making therapy fun to enable and support her clients to reach their goals. In the words of Bec herself, “Got to add some spice to the program to keep it interesting!”

Bec spent the first part of her career working at Austin Health across various settings including the acute hospital, sub-acute rehabilitation, community and outpatient settings. Bec’s strong interest in working with a neurological population then lead to a role at Austin Health with the Victorian Spinal Cord Service.
