Emma Hemsley

Allied Health Assistant Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance

Emma has always gravitated towards roles where she is surrounded by people. Simply put, she finds helping people rewarding. To this end, Emma is currently studying to become a Physiotherapist.

Emma loves how complex the brain can be, what may work for one person might not always work for another. ‘It’s the ultimate jigsaw puzzle.’ She describes her approach to her clinical sessions as passionate; curious; inventive; and kind.

When asked what she particularly loves about working at Steps, Emma replied: ‘I love how hardworking and fun the team is! They always go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcomed and cared for.’

If you’re not sure quite what to expect from an Allied Health Assistant, Emma describes the AHAs at Steps as ‘a very friendly, versatile and a capable bunch that are always willing to lend a hand.’
