Cindy Pham
Neurological Occupational Therapist BOccThy(Hons)
As an OT, Cindy is drawn to how creative she can be to help her clients achieve meaningful outcomes. She loves the diversity that exists within the role of an OT – there are so many ways in which she can help make life better for her clients.
Cindy has a particular clinical interest in upper limb therapy, and has completed post graduate training in the Bobath Concept, which she uses to inform her clinical practice. Of her approach to therapy, Cindy describes: “I try to have a client centered approach to clinical practice, by getting to know someone, their life roles and interests, which drive, motivate and shape their goals.”
Cindy joined the Steps Team in 2024, and says “I enjoy working with such a greatly skilled and supportive team who I have learnt a lot from. It motivates me to continue to upskill myself.”
Cindy hopes to help more people understand that OT is more than just rehabilitation and recovery, it often also involves discovering or developing new mindsets, qualities and interests that shape someone’s experience along their journey.
