Bethan Ward
Neurological Occupational Therapist BHScOT(Hons) | OTAM
Bethan loves that Occupational Therapy practice requires and combines a creative process with practical application. Excellent problem solving requires creativity, and our lives require practicality, so Bethan gets on with finding the best solutions to real life problems.
Bethan describes her approach as passionate and compassionate. She appreciates that every client’s journey is unique. She loves assisting her clients in rebuilding their confidence, and achieve a greater level of independence in their life. She is a systematic and creative thinker, who brings a problem-solving lens to find solutions to difficulties with everyday activities.
Bethan is a highly valued member of our team at Steps. Of working at Steps, she says: ‘Steps Therapy fosters a positive, supportive environment for both clients and clinicians. I especially value working within a collaborative team where we can learn from one another.’
Bethan wishes more people knew that Neurological OT is about so much more than physical rehabilitation. It is also about understanding fatigue management, emotional wellbeing, cognitive (thinking) skills, development of daily routines, and so much more.
